Juqed Web
Pricing, payment and refunds.
Everything about the host access Juqed Web at web.juqed.com: what the tiers cost, who your contracting party is when you buy, how to cancel, and when money comes back. None of this applies to the Juqed and Juqed Go apps from the App Store – Apple is the seller there.
What Juqed Web is
Juqed Web turns one computer and your own Apple Music account into the sound system for your event. You create an event in the browser, your guests open a link on their own phones, request songs and vote on them. Playback runs in your browser window. No installation, no extra device, and your guests need neither an app nor an account.
What you need to bring: your own paid Apple Music subscription and a computer that stays on and online for the whole event. The playback window has to stay open while music is playing. We do not supply music – Juqed Web controls playback, the content comes from Apple.
The tiers and what they cost
All prices include statutory VAT. Which rate applies to you depends on where you live; the details are on your invoice.
Free – €0
For trying it out, with no payment details. Every feature is open: requests, voting, the block list, history, the guest page and all five Auto DJ sources. Two limits: an event runs for one day, and playback is capped at three hours – counted from the first song played, once per account. Setting up and experimenting costs none of it.
Gold – €2.49 per week, €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year
The full tier. Events run with no end date until you end them yourself, and all five Auto DJ sources are available, including the curated Juqed Gold collections and DJ mode. No trial period, no cap on playing time.
The week is the evening pass for one or two parties a year. The month carries the same figure as Juqed Gold in the iPhone app. The year works out at eight monthly payments and is meant for venues and clubs.
Pro – €17.49 once
Pro is not freely available. We offer it to selected customers – namely those who have cancelled a Gold subscription, or once had one. It is an offer to carry on with Juqed Web without paying on an ongoing basis: a single payment, and nothing after that.
Events then run for seven days and can be extended. The two most demanding Auto DJ sources – the Juqed Gold collections and DJ mode – remain reserved for Gold; the other three are included. The reason is plainly commercial: a one-off price does not sustain curated content indefinitely.
Pro has no term, does not renew and does not need to be cancelled.

Who your contracting party is when you buy: Paddle
Ordering, payment and invoicing run through our partner Paddle.com Market Limited, 30 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom (company number 8172165).
Paddle acts as reseller and Merchant of Record. In plain terms: for the purchase itself, Paddle is your contracting party, not us. Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice and remits VAT. Paddle’s own terms are shown to you in the payment window alongside ours.
For Juqed Web itself we remain your contracting party. We owe you the service, our Terms govern it, and you address your declarations about cancellation and withdrawal to us – not to Paddle.
Which payment methods are available is decided by Paddle based on your country; you see them in the payment window. Your invoices and your stored payment method live in your customer account at Paddle. You will find the way there in your Juqed account – there is no second address to remember.
We never see your card details at any point. They are entered only in Paddle’s payment window and stay there.
Term, renewal and cancellation
A Gold subscription runs for the period you choose – week, month or year – and renews automatically for the same length unless it is cancelled.
You can cancel at any time, with no notice period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: until then nothing changes; after that the account falls back to the free tier and nothing more is charged. Your event, playlist and history stay.
There are three equally valid ways:
- in your account at web.juqed.com;
- without signing in, via the cancellation button under section 312k of the German Civil Code, which sits in the footer of every page on web.juqed.com;
- informally in text form, for example by email to mail@juqed.com. Please include your name and the email address of your account.
Price changes take effect no earlier than the next renewal and are announced by email at least six weeks in advance. We do not treat your silence as agreement: if you do not agree, cancel before the renewal.
Refunds and the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal of fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract. All details, the periods and the model withdrawal form are set out in our right of withdrawal.
We do not let the right of withdrawal expire early. Even if you start using Juqed Web immediately after buying, your right stays in place for the full fourteen days. We deliberately do not obtain consent under section 356(5) of the German Civil Code – that would extinguish the right, and the withdrawal button would then be a promise with nothing behind it.
If you withdraw, we refund in full. We do not claim compensation for the value of the service you used in the meantime, even though we would be entitled to. That is a business decision rather than a legal obligation – but it holds.
You can declare withdrawal in one click at web.juqed.com/widerruf, without signing in, from inside your account, or informally in text form to mail@juqed.com. We confirm every declaration that reaches us through this function – including when the period has already expired.
An automatic renewal is not a new conclusion of contract and does not restart the fourteen days. Someone who subscribed in the seventh month and was billed three days ago can no longer withdraw – but can cancel at any time.
Refunds outside withdrawal
On cancellation, periods already paid for are not refunded pro rata. The service remains yours until the end of the period, and you can use it fully until then.
Two cases are expressly handled differently, because they do not originate with you:
- We discontinue Juqed Web. We then cancel with three months’ notice. If the discontinuation falls within the first 24 months after a one-off Pro purchase, we refund the purchase price pro rata for every full month missing from those 24.
- Apple discontinues Apple Music or the MusicKit interface, or changes its terms such that Juqed Web is permanently unusable. Either side may then terminate for cause, and we refund paid but no longer usable periods pro rata.
Your statutory rights in case of defects are unaffected. The full rules are in the Terms for Juqed Web, sections 5 to 7.
How a refund works in practice
Paddle plays the central role here too: Paddle issues the repayment, by the same route you paid. We trigger it as soon as your withdrawal has reached us and been checked.
Two things so you are not left waiting: your access is downgraded immediately, and the money follows a little later – Paddle approves card refunds first and reports them as completed afterwards. How long it takes to reach your account depends on your bank, not on us. If an event happens to be running at that moment, it does not stop mid-song but gets six hours to wind down.
Questions
If you are unsure whether your declaration arrived or which contract it concerns, write to mail@juqed.com. We always confirm declarations of withdrawal and cancellation – including when we find no contract for the address given. In that case we write and tell you what is possible instead.
Full provider details are in the imprint. Which personal data we process along the way is set out in the Juqed Web privacy policy.
