Answers that apply to all three.
The most common questions that don't depend on which edition you use.
Which edition should I pick — Go, Web or Mac?
The question behind it is: what should play the music? If you are out and about and cannot guarantee shared Wi-Fi, pick Juqed Go on your iPhone or iPad. If a computer is running anyway and you want to install nothing – or it is not a Mac – pick Juqed Web in the browser. If you have a music library of your own on disk, pick Juqed for the Mac. More details on the compare page.
Do my guests need an app?
No. In all three editions, guests just open the web interface in their browser by scanning the host's QR code. No install, no account, no download — works on any phone, tablet, or laptop.
Do I need Apple Music?
For Juqed Go and Juqed Web yes – there the music comes from your own account. For Juqed on the Mac it is optional; you can use just your own library. Your guests never need a subscription of their own.
Does everyone have to be on the same Wi-Fi?
For Juqed on the Mac yes, everything runs on the local network – in return it works entirely without the internet. For Juqed Go and Juqed Web no: an internet connection is enough, whether Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Where do I find legal info on privacy and the legal notice?
Everything in the Legal section: app privacy policy, website privacy policy, and legal notice.
What do I do about a bug or a question not answered here?
Drop me a line directly — the email address is in the legal notice. A real person responds, usually within a few days.
