Get Juqed.
Three routes, one idea. For most parties, Juqed Go on the iPhone is the right choice – in the browser there is nothing to install at all.
Juqed Web
Runs in the browser – on Windows, Linux and the Mac. Nothing to download, nothing to set up.
- Any current browser, any system
- Apple Music subscription (host only)
- Free tier for trying it out
Juqed for Mac
The democratic jukebox for your MP3 library on macOS. For the special case of local files.
- macOS 14 or newer
- Local music (MP3, M4A, AAC)
- Guests on the same Wi-Fi
Which one fits you?
The three editions differ less in what they can do than in where the music comes from and which device stays running through the event. Decide on that, not on the feature list.
Juqed Go answers almost every case. The iPhone is there anyway, it sits on the charger or lasts the event, and it needs no shared Wi-Fi – mobile data is enough. That is the difference that counts outdoors: on the terrace, at the holiday house, on a handcart tour.
Juqed Web is for when nothing may be installed, or when no Apple device is doing the playing. It runs in a browser window on a computer that has to stay on – and on Windows and Linux it is the only route. It also plays your own files: share folders and your guests request from them just like Apple Music. That part needs Chrome or Edge. There is a free tier for trying it out; the details are on the pricing page.
Juqed for Mac is the special case: it plays your own library straight off the disk, optionally mixed with Apple Music, and does it with no internet at all. Your guests do have to be on the same Wi-Fi.
Still undecided? The comparison puts every feature side by side, and use cases shows which edition has proven itself across nine typical occasions.
Your guests download nothing.
Only you, the host, install the app. Everyone else simply scans the QR code and votes right in the browser – no download, no account, no cost.
