They search the full Apple Music catalogue and put their track in the queue. They need no streaming subscription of their own — playback runs through your account.
Everyone votes
Every request lands in the same list, and anyone can vote on anyone else's. Whatever sits at the top plays next. Requests that have waited a long time drift upward on their own, so the quieter guests get their turn too.

The usual worry about a song request app is not the technology, it is the one guest who hijacks the night. There are four dials for that, and you set them before the first request arrives.
- Blocklist — artists, titles or keywords that do not play at your event. Neither requestable nor picked by the Auto DJ.
- Limit per guest — nobody fills half the queue on their own.
- Cooldown — the same track cannot come round twice in quick succession.
- Play now — pull any request to the front instantly without switching voting off. For the first dance or the closing track.
Wherever more than one person wants a say.
Song requests are not a party topic alone. The flow is the same everywhere; only the settings differ.
- Wedding — three generations, one event, and nobody has to play the DJ.
- House party and birthday — the aux cable stays where it is.
- Company event — the event belongs to everyone, not the loudest department.

No, only you. Your guests search the catalogue and vote; playback runs through your account. It costs them nothing.
What happens when nobody is requesting anything?
The Auto DJ takes over and keeps playing – by genre, from your playlists, or matching what has already played. No silence just because your guests are dancing instead of typing.
Can a single guest take over the music?
That is what the per-guest request limit and the hourly vote limit are for, plus the blocklist for anything that does not belong at your event. You set both before the first guest joins.
Does everyone have to be on the same Wi-Fi?
Not with Juqed Go or Juqed Web – everything runs over the internet, mobile data and Wi-Fi mixed is no problem. Only Juqed for Mac needs a shared network, and in exchange it works with no internet at all.
Can guests see who requested what?
During the event yes – the name they chose sits next to their request, and that is part of the fun. Afterwards no: the recap and every export carry no guest names at all.
