Juqed Go 2.0 is here: the biggest new features
Published on
Juqed Go is the web jukebox for your events: your guests pick the music straight from their smartphone browser – no app to install, and no need for everyone to share the same Wi-Fi. With the big update to version 2.0, running the music becomes more beautiful, smoother and smarter. Here are the biggest new features.
Juqed Go 2.0 – what's inside the big update
Four things stand out: a new full-screen player, smooth transitions between songs, a fully reworked Auto-DJ and – for Juqed Gold subscribers – the brand-new Autopilot.
New full-screen player
A tap on the player bar now opens a large, clean playback view that puts the current song centre stage: big cover art, title and artist, plus genre and release year – so you know at a glance what's playing without hunting for it. Use the progress bar to skip forward and back comfortably, with remaining and total time visible at all times. Volume and output device – like AirPlay or your Bluetooth speaker – are right there in the same view, so you never have to leave the app or dig through menus. And because one song chases the next at a party, long titles scroll through once so nothing gets cut off and you keep the full picture even with the most unwieldy names.
Smooth transitions (crossfader)
No more hard cut at the end of a track: in 2.0 songs blend smoothly into one another – one fades out while the next is already coming in, for a continuous, professional sound like a real DJ set. It's exactly this seamless flow that keeps the energy on the dance floor high, because there's never an awkward gap where people pause. A tap on the player bar turns the crossfade on or off; press and hold to fine-tune the duration between 2 and 12 seconds – short and punchy for a driving party, long and gentle for a laid-back evening. Best of all: the songs the Auto-DJ lines up are now crossfaded too, so the transition lands even when nobody is steering.
Reworked Auto-DJ
The Auto-DJ is your quiet co-pilot: it keeps the music going when no request is coming in, so it never falls silent between two guest picks. In 2.0 it's got a lot smarter. The sources it pulls songs from are reordered and now carry clearer names with a short explanation, so you pick the right one straight away even with no prior knowledge. The history-based source in particular makes noticeably sharper calls thanks to an improved sense of the room: it remembers which songs landed well on this specific night, spots the direction the mood is heading, and gets a little better with every track played – as if it were getting to know your guests as the evening goes on.
New Autopilot for Juqed Gold
The highlight for Juqed Gold subscribers: the brand-new Autopilot goes a step beyond the classic Auto-DJ. It senses the mood in the room and spins like a real DJ – instead of working through requests strictly in order, it simply plays what fits best right now, building a genuine arc across the evening. As the host you still hold the reins: your own requests carry more weight and set the broad direction. Autopilot handles the rest – you lean back, enjoy your own party, and never have to reach for your phone to line up the next track.
